New Delhi, August 9: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP National President Nitin Naveen in New Delhi on Saturday. CM Yogi shared details of these meetings via the social media platform ‘X’.
After his meeting with Prime Minister Modi, CM Yogi posted pictures on ‘X’, stating, “Had a heartfelt meeting with the visionary Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi. Your guidance inspires me to remain steadfast on the path of good governance. Thank you, Prime Minister, for your valuable time.”
This meeting between CM Yogi and Prime Minister Modi is considered significant from both political and administrative perspectives. However, no official information regarding the agenda of the meeting has been disclosed.
In addition to meeting the Prime Minister, CM Yogi Adityanath also had an audience with BJP National President Nitin Naveen, describing this meeting as a courtesy visit.
Earlier, CM Yogi was on a tour of western Uttar Pradesh. In Meerut, he welcomed and honored the Kanwar pilgrims who were on their way for the holy water offering during the month of Sawan.
After showering flowers on the pilgrims, the Chief Minister wrote on ‘X’, “Shivo bhutva shivam yajet. On the auspicious occasion of the holy month of Sawan dedicated to Lord Bholenath, I honored the devotees and Kanwar pilgrims in Meerut with a shower of flowers.”
He emphasized that the devotees, who undertake a pilgrimage of hundreds of kilometers with devotion, discipline, and dedication, convey a message of social harmony and national unity, transcending caste, creed, and regional boundaries.
CM Yogi also assured that the Uttar Pradesh government is fully committed to the safety, convenience, and respect of the Kanwar pilgrims. He prayed to Lord Mahadev for the fulfillment of all devotees’ wishes, chanting “Har-Har Mahadev.”
After the Kanwar Yatra program, CM Yogi Adityanath traveled to New Delhi in the evening, where he met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP President Nitin Naveen.
