Chhattisgarh CM Criticizes Rahul Gandhis Comments, Emphasizes Governance Initiatives

Raipur, May 21: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has criticized Congress MP and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, stating that he should refrain from crossing limits.

In response to Gandhi’s controversial remarks against PM Modi and Amit Shah, CM Sai emphasized the importance of maintaining decorum. He remarked that while criticism is acceptable, making comments of such nature is inappropriate. “His mind is not right. Such petty remarks reflect a lack of intellect,” he stated.

On another note, CM Sai is actively touring under the Good Governance Festival initiative. He participated in a solution camp for the Good Governance Festival 2026 held in Ramapur village, Surajpur district. During this event, he distributed approval letters, assistance materials, and financial support under various government schemes.

The Chief Minister highlighted that when a family receives approval for a house under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, elderly individuals gain support through pensions, farmers obtain credit cards and agricultural tools, or self-help groups for women gain new strength for self-reliance, it is not just about benefiting from schemes. It brings new hope, confidence, and a belief in a better future. Our government’s commitment is to ensure that every facility reaches the last person and adds a new chapter of respect, security, and prosperity to every family’s life.

He added that distance will no longer hinder children’s dreams, as technology will bring new educational opportunities to every village.

Additionally, he flagged off the ‘Kamyabi VR Van’ under the ‘Mission Kamyabi’ initiative by the NITI Aayog in Kushha village, Sonhat development block, Korea district. This initiative is a significant step towards providing modern digital education to students in remote and network-deficient areas. Through advanced technologies like Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR), our children will now engage in interesting, tech-based education beyond traditional textbooks. Our resolve is that no child in the village will be deprived of opportunities and modern education. The new light of education through technology will now give wings to the dreams of those in remote areas.
