Celebrating International Yoga Day: Indian Chief Ministers Promote Daily Practice

New Delhi, June 21: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Chief Ministers from BJP-ruled states engaged in public yoga sessions early Sunday morning. They extended their greetings to the public and encouraged daily yoga practice.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath shared on X, “Yoga: Karma Su Kaushalam. Yoga is not just exercise; it is a science that unites the body, mind, and soul. Heartfelt wishes to all yoga practitioners and residents of the state on International Yoga Day. Thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts, yoga has become a global movement. Let us all pledge to practice yoga daily for a healthy and prosperous nation.”

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini posted on X, “Warm wishes to all residents on International Yoga Day. Yoga is an invaluable knowledge from India’s ancient cultural heritage that has shown the world the path to healthy living and inner balance. Due to the relentless efforts of our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, yoga has gained global recognition and is becoming a part of every individual’s life.
