Srinagar, June 20: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir extended warm wishes to the residents on the eve of the 12th International Yoga Day. He urged everyone to integrate yoga into their daily lives. Sinha emphasized that yoga not only enhances physical health but also plays a crucial role in mental balance and overall well-being.

In his message, the Lieutenant Governor congratulated all citizens on this significant occasion. He encouraged active participation in various programs organized for Yoga Day and urged people to take steps towards a healthier lifestyle.

This year, the theme for International Yoga Day is “Yoga for Healthy Aging,” highlighting the importance of maintaining health and vitality at every stage of life. Sinha described yoga as an invaluable gift from India’s ancient cultural and spiritual heritage, guiding the world towards a balanced and healthy life.

On another note, the establishment day of West Bengal was celebrated at the Jammu and Kashmir Lok Bhawan. During this event, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha congratulated the people of West Bengal. He acknowledged the state’s significant contributions to India’s freedom struggle, literature, arts, music, science, and nation-building.

He called upon the youth to draw inspiration from the great personalities of the state and contribute to building a strong, prosperous, and developed India, stating, “May this state continue to achieve new heights of development and progress.”
