As work on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad bullet train corridor advances rapidly, plans are underway to extend the project to Delhi, which will bring the country’s cutting-edge rail connectivity to several cities in Rajasthan.

According to the latest updates, the proposed Delhi-Ahmedabad High-Speed Rail Corridor will cover a total length of approximately 878 km, out of which 657 km (about 75%) will pass through Rajasthan. The route will include prominent cities like Alwar, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, and Dungarpur, impacting over 335 villages across these seven districts.

The corridor will include 11 stations, with seven located within Rajasthan. These proposed stations are:
