He explained that the increased capital expenditure will accelerate the development of expressways, industrial corridors, logistic hubs, railways, and urban infrastructure in the state, opening new avenues for investment.
The minister highlighted the support for small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and industrial incentives, which will boost local employment and self-employment opportunities. He also welcomed the announcement of establishing a Digital Knowledge Grid, which will be particularly beneficial for the youth.
On tourism, Khanna appreciated the decision to promote 15 historical cities and train 10,000 tourist guides. He also welcomed the investment of ₹40,000 crore in the electronics sector and the establishment of an AI hub. Additionally, he appreciated the reduction in prices of medicines for seven serious diseases, including cancer and diabetes, as well as the cost cuts on solar panels, electric vehicle batteries, mobile batteries, leather goods, and sports equipment, which will help control inflation.
