Mumbai, August 22: Actor Bobby Deol has officially started shooting for the much-anticipated fourth season of the popular web series ‘Aashram’. The production team confirmed this news via social media on Saturday.
Prakash Jha Productions shared a photo of a clapperboard on Instagram, prominently featuring the title ‘Aashram 4’. The image shows the clapperboard placed at a prayer area, marking the beginning of the new season.
In their post, the makers wrote, “Another beginning… Welcome to the new chapter of Aashram. Let’s start… Shooting for ‘Aashram 4’ has commenced.”
As soon as the announcement was made, fans and industry insiders expressed their excitement. Bobby Deol will reprise his role as ‘Baba Nirala’ in this new season. The fourth installment will also feature Aditi Pohankar as Pammi and Chandan Roy Sanyal as Bhopa Swami. Additionally, returning cast members include Darshan Kumar, Anupriya Goenka, Esha Gupta, Aadyan Suman, and Tridha Choudhury.
Directed by Prakash Jha, ‘Aashram’ portrays the story of Baba Nirala, a self-proclaimed godman who exploits politics, crime, and superstition to build his empire.
The acclaimed web series has already released three successful seasons, all directed by Prakash Jha. The first season premiered on MX Player on August 28, 2020, followed by the second season on November 11, 2020, and the third season in June 2022.
Given the success of previous seasons, expectations are high for this latest installment of ‘Aashram’.
