Imran Hashmis Emotional Journey During Hamari Adhuri Kahani Filming Revealed by Wife Parveen

Mumbai, August 22: In the romantic drama film ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani,’ actor Imran Hashmi broke away from his traditional image, showcasing his talent as a serious, sensitive, and mature romantic lead. On Saturday, his wife Parveen shared insights into the emotional challenges he faced during the film’s shooting.

Parveen Hashmi took to Instagram to post the film’s title track, revealing that their son Ayaan was undergoing cancer treatment at the time of filming. This meant that Imran had to leave Parveen and their son behind to fulfill his shooting commitments.

Parveen wrote, “I vividly remember the time of ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ when Imi (Imran) had to go for the film shoot. This is one of his most emotional films. During the shoot, our son Ayaan was receiving cancer treatment, and Imi had to leave to shoot ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani.’ I know what he was carrying in his heart off-screen.”

She concluded by stating that sometimes the emotions portrayed on screen are deeply genuine. “Sometimes the tears you see on screen come from a very real place,” she added.

The Indian Hindi romantic drama ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ was directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mahesh Bhatt. It is said to be based on the real-life love story of director Mahesh Bhatt’s parents, Nanabhai Bhatt and Shirin Mohammad Ali, along with his stepmother.

The film stars Imran Hashmi, Vidya Balan, and Rajkummar Rao in lead roles. It tells the love story between a single mother named Vasudha (Vidya Balan) and a wealthy hotelier, Aarav (Imran Hashmi). Vasudha’s husband, Hari (Rajkummar Rao), left her years ago without explanation. Aarav falls in love with Vasudha, and gradually, she begins to reciprocate his feelings. The story takes a turn when Vasudha’s past, her husband Hari, returns, leading to a new twist in their circumstances and emotions.
