Mumbai, August 20: Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sonia Gandhi’s highly anticipated autobiography, “Belonging: A Journey of Love,” is set to launch on November 10. The book will highlight significant milestones in her life, sparking discussions in political circles. In response, BJP leader Ram Kadam has also shared his thoughts.
During a conversation in Mumbai, BJP MLA Ram Kadam extended his best wishes to Sonia Gandhi for her upcoming autobiography but also made a pointed remark. He stated, “I wish Sonia Gandhi all the best for her forthcoming autobiography. However, I hope she has written the truth about how, during her tenure, the Prime Minister operated like a puppet, controlled remotely from 10 Janpath. The book should also address the corruption that occurred during that time and how attempts were made to fill personal coffers instead of serving the people.”
Kadam added, “Everyone writes nice things, but if Sonia Gandhi’s book contains the truth, it will certainly be welcomed.”
Meanwhile, JD(U) spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan commented, “She has mentioned events related to her life, and I wish her well for the book.”
Congress leader Pawan Khera welcomed Sonia Gandhi’s book, stating, “We are all eagerly waiting—people across the country and the world are anticipating this book. It is not just a book; it is a journey, a narrative of life. It is a journey where Sonia Gandhi has endured much, including the martyrdom of two family members, including her husband, Rajiv Gandhi.”
