Jalpaiguri, March 8: Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, Samrat Chaudhary, has targeted the Trinamool Congress (TMC) government in West Bengal, stating that the public is determined to bring about change. “We are all prepared to uproot Mamata Banerjee’s government,” he declared.
Chaudhary emphasized that the BJP is working for the welfare of various communities in Bengal, including tribal groups, the Gorkha community, and Bengali society.
During his visit to Bengal, he addressed a large rally in the Mal assembly constituency (Siliguri) on Sunday. He criticized the TMC government, calling it a symbol of corruption, chaos, and injustice. “The change journey is a powerful call from the people of Bengal, seeking to liberate the state from misgovernance and establish a new era of accountability, good governance, and development under PM Modi’s leadership,” he stated.
He expressed disappointment over the neglect shown towards President Droupadi Murmu and the sentiments of the tribal community. The venue for the International Santhal Conference in Siliguri was downsized, and neither the Chief Minister nor any minister was present to welcome them.
The President herself expressed sorrow, questioning if Mamata didi was upset with her. “This is an insult to the tribal community and the highest office of the nation. The TMC government has crossed all limits of decorum. The presidency is above politics, and its dignity must be respected at all costs. Mamata Banerjee has presented the lowest form of politics, tearing apart the democratic framework,” he added.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary extended heartfelt greetings to all mothers and sisters. He stated, “Women symbolize courage, sacrifice, compassion, and creativity. Their contribution to the development of families, society, and the nation is invaluable and inspiring. Today serves as a reminder to strengthen our commitment to women’s respect, rights, and empowerment. Let us all pledge to ensure women’s dignity, safety, and equal opportunities, fostering a strong and prosperous society.”
