Patna, March 13: Sanjay Sarawagi, the Bihar BJP state president, stated that PM Modi transformed adversity into opportunity even during the COVID-19 pandemic. He highlighted that not only did India produce vaccines, but it also supplied them to other countries, saving millions of lives.
Regarding the LPG cylinder shortage, Sarawagi noted that ongoing conflicts in Western countries have led to some gas supply issues. However, he emphasized that PM Modi has turned this adversity into an opportunity for relief. During the COVID crisis, India not only developed vaccines but also provided them to several nations, saving countless lives.
Currently, there are minor disruptions in gas supply, but there is no need for public panic. Gas bookings are being processed online, and supplies are reaching homes within two to three days. The public is understandably anxious, but they should remain calm as the government is closely monitoring the situation. PM Modi has assured that there should be no issues with essential commodities. The Bihar government is also keeping an eye on hoarders.
On the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections and the claim of the RJD winning a fifth seat, Sarawagi remarked that Tejashwi Yadav has yet to accept defeat. He is confident that the NDA will secure all five Rajya Sabha seats on March 16.
Commenting on the rejection of the no-confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, Sarawagi stated that Congress has been proven wrong. Om Birla is an esteemed Speaker who performs his duties excellently. Rahul Gandhi has attempted to create issues, but nothing substantial has materialized. Following the response from Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Congress has run out of arguments. The no-confidence motion against Om Birla resulted in a setback for Congress.
Regarding Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s Prosperity Yatra, Sarawagi mentioned that the CM inaugurated and laid the foundation for development projects worth ₹485 crores in the sacred land of Maa Puran Devi in Purnia district. This includes the foundation stone for eight new projects costing ₹321 crores and the completion of 84 welfare schemes worth ₹164 crores. The implementation of these projects will accelerate regional development, expand basic facilities, and positively impact the living standards of local residents.
