BJP Reacts Strongly to Rahul Gandhis Comments on PM Modi and Foreign Policy

New Delhi, August 15: The political landscape in India has heated up following Congress leader Rahul Gandhi‘s remarks targeting Prime Minister Modi and his foreign policy. During an event in New Delhi, Gandhi’s comments have sparked significant controversy, prompting responses from BJP leaders and others.

Vinod Bansal, a leader of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), expressed disbelief at the decline of the country’s oldest political party. He stated that it is shocking to see Gandhi forget the present, past, and future of the nation. He criticized Gandhi for abandoning his religion, culture, and history, labeling his comments as shameful and a new low in Indian politics. Bansal emphasized that Gandhi should reflect on his words and apologize, questioning whether his behavior aligns with Indian culture.

Shreekant Bharati, a BJP Member of the Legislative Council from Maharashtra, pointed out that the entire nation is watching Gandhi. He highlighted the numerous international issues that have arisen since 2014, including the COVID-19 pandemic and tariffs imposed by former U.S. President Trump. Bharati noted that India has emerged as one of the world’s major economies, attributing this progress to the Modi government’s foreign policy. He accused Gandhi and the Congress party of being frustrated by the nation’s advancement, which he believes is the reason behind their critical remarks. Bharati condemned Gandhi’s actions alongside Sandeep Dikshit as not only disrespectful to PM Modi but also to Indian women, asserting that Gandhi has disrespected the country on a global stage.

BJP MLA Ram Kadam praised PM Modi as a leader who has received the highest honors from many countries. Modi himself has stated that these accolades reflect the respect of the Indian populace, not just his own. Kadam criticized Gandhi for his inability to appreciate this, likening his comments to those of a stand-up comedian. He accused Gandhi of mocking foreign policy and claimed that his actions tarnish India’s image. Kadam further alleged that Gandhi supports anti-national sentiments while speaking abroad.

He concluded by asserting that there is no need to explain who Rahul Gandhi is, suggesting that Gandhi should immerse himself in understanding the BJP and its values to truly comprehend the party’s mission.
