BJP MPs Criticize Oppositions Conduct in Lok Sabha, Accuse Them of Disrupting Order

New Delhi, March 16: BJP MPs recently voiced strong criticisms regarding the opposition’s behavior in the Lok Sabha, claiming it undermines parliamentary decorum. They emphasized that such conduct is detrimental to the nation and called for improvements in the opposition’s behavior to maintain the dignity of the house.

BJP MP Jagdambika Pal spoke to reporters, stating that the letter sent by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to all MPs is a testament to the strength of democracy. He accused the opposition, particularly Rahul Gandhi and his associates, of creating chaos in the house without any substantial reason. He suggested that the no-confidence motion was a result of Rahul Gandhi’s stubbornness and expressed hope that such protests would cease.

BJP MP Kamaljeet Seherawat praised the impartiality of the Lok Sabha Speaker, noting that Om Birla treats all members, regardless of their party affiliation, without bias. He highlighted that the Speaker has repeatedly encouraged the Leader of the Opposition to express their views, yet they often ignore this invitation and later claim they were not allowed to speak, which he deemed concerning.

BJP MP Naresh Bansal commented on the Prime Minister’s letter regarding the Speaker, stating, β€œThe behavior of the opposition in Parliament suggests that they hold no respect for anyone but themselves. They show disregard for the judiciary, the Parliament, the President, the Vice President, and the Speaker. I believe there is no hope for their improvement.”

BJP MP Dinesh Sharma referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks, asserting that the opposition has adopted irresponsible tactics. He pointed out that the Speaker was targeted through the no-confidence motion, and now the Election Commission is under attack. He labeled this as a political stunt aimed at weakening constitutional institutions.

The BJP MPs unanimously stated that the purpose of the Lok Sabha is not to create disputes but to work for the 1.4 billion citizens of the country. They accused the opposition of causing disruptions and violating the decorum of the house. They stressed that while democracy allows for both agreement and disagreement, any actions against constitutional institutions are unacceptable.
