New Delhi, February 24: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has condemned the shirtless protest by Indian Youth Congress activists during the India AI Impact Summit held at Bharat Mandapam. He stated that his party stands against hooliganism.

In a social media post, Dubey targeted the Indian National Congress, asserting that his party will not tolerate any form of chaos. He accused the opposition of violating democratic norms.

The fourth edition of the India AI Impact Summit was successfully conducted from February 16 to 20, 2026, in New Delhi, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The summit saw participation from 91 countries and numerous global companies. A significant diplomatic announcement was made during the event, committing all participating nations and companies to inclusive AI development.

Dubey noted that over $200 billion in AI investments were announced at the summit, marking a historic step for India’s digital future. Tech giant Google pledged to establish a major data center in India and promised to lay a direct submarine cable link between India and the United States, significantly enhancing digital connectivity and data transfer speeds.

The summit was organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The organizing committee expressed satisfaction with the event’s success and praised the Prime Minister’s leadership. However, they strongly condemned an unfortunate incident that occurred at the summit venue on February 20, assuring better security measures for future events.

Following the Youth Congress protest at the AI summit, police registered cases for public disturbance and other charges. So far, eight individuals have been arrested in connection with this incident.
