Jaipur, February 18: The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is celebrating its 100th anniversary with initiatives aimed at uniting Hindus across various states. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat has been consistently urging Hindus to expand their families and aim for at least three children. In response, BJP legislator Bal Mukund Acharya has voiced his support for this ideology.
Acharya stated, “Look at India’s tradition; King Dasharath had a large family. While Ram and Lakshman went into exile, two sons remained behind—one for the kingdom and one for the family. Nowadays, the trend in India is ‘we two, our one.’ I want to ask the new generation of Indians who are content with just one child: Who will become soldiers? Who will join the police? Who will serve our nation, Bharat Mata, and protect our religion as RSS volunteers? And who will care for the elders, society, family, and parents?”
He further emphasized, “We should adopt the approach of ‘we two, two four.’ This is the path to progress and prosperity for our country. It is also crucial to understand that one segment of the nation is focused on increasing numbers while another is decreasing. This is concerning because if we remain as ‘we two and our one,’ our relationships will diminish. There will be no uncles or aunts left.”
Discussing the recent budget, he remarked, “Bajanlal Sharma has presented a historic budget that considers every segment of society, whether it be the poor or our sisters and mothers. Historically, women have held esteemed positions in our society, and this budget pays special attention to that.”
Recently, at an event in Lucknow, Mohan Bhagwat called for unity among all Hindus, stressing that societies without three children face uncertain futures, a fate that could also befall Hindus.
