BJP Leaders Condemn Congress Presidents Remarks on Modis Father

BJP leaders express outrage over Congress President Mallikarjun Kharges comments about Prime Minister Modi and his father.

New Delhi, October 25 (Daily Kiran) : BJP leaders have reacted sharply to comments made by Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge during an event in Patna, where he made remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his father.

Former Union Minister Anurag Thakur criticized Congress, questioning how low the party would sink with such derogatory statements. He noted that the public is witnessing Congress’s deteriorating mindset. Thakur expressed concern about the implications of Kharge’s comments, suggesting they reflect a broader decline in the party’s standards.

He remarked that if the national president of Congress resorts to such language, it raises questions about the behavior of other party leaders. Thakur accused Congress of spreading lies and rumors as they struggle politically against Modi, claiming they aim to disrupt the nation’s progress and tarnish its reputation.

Thakur further stated that Kharge’s comments are an insult to the country and called for an apology. He also advised Congress to engage in self-reflection, pointing out that the lack of attendance at Kharge’s event indicated a loss of public support.

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey described Kharge’s remarks as a sign of Congress’s desperation, noting that under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, the party has lost over 100 elections.

Manoj Tiwari, another BJP MP, criticized the language used by Kharge, asserting that it is unbecoming of a national party leader. He suggested that the Congress has adopted the rhetoric of thugs and goons, especially given their long absence from power in Bihar. Tiwari emphasized that both Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar have worked to transform Bihar, and such language from Congress is not new.

He recalled previous instances where Congress leaders used inappropriate language regarding Modi’s family, asserting that the public believes Kharge should apologize for his recent comments.
