BJPs Sambit Patra Criticizes Kharges Remarks, Claims They Reflect Rahul Gandhis Language
Sambit Patra attacks Congress leader Kharges comments on PM Modi, suggesting they echo Rahul Gandhis rhetoric amid internal dissent.

New Delhi, October 25 (Daily Kiran) : BJP MP Sambit Patra has sharply criticized Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s recent comments about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Speaking at a party event in Patna, Kharge expressed his determination to remove Modi from power and restore Congress’s leadership. However, his remarks faced pushback from some party workers, with one stating, “Modi is not going anywhere.”
Patra highlighted that during Kharge’s speech, Congress members stood up to voice their concerns. He pointed out that the dissatisfaction stems from the party’s leadership, particularly targeting Rahul Gandhi, who has been criticized for being frequently absent from party duties. “How can Congress win elections when our non-functioning president is always on vacation?” one worker reportedly said.
Patra emphasized two key points. First, he noted the internal confusion among Congress workers regarding Rahul Gandhi’s leadership, suggesting they are aware that he is not capable of leading the party effectively. He remarked that since Gandhi took charge, Congress has been on a downward trajectory.
Secondly, he stated that Kharge’s choice of words at his age was inappropriate, asserting that the rhetoric used was not characteristic of Kharge but rather reflective of Gandhi’s style. “This language is rooted in frustration,” Patra said, accusing Kharge of being tired of attempting to promote Gandhi without success. He concluded by condemning the Congress party’s attempts to undermine the business community, labeling their actions as disgraceful.
