
Jaipur, August 18: After receiving new roles in the BJP’s leadership team, National General Secretary Gajendra Patel, National Secretary Sangeeta Yadav, and Rohan Gupta expressed gratitude towards the party leadership. They emphasized their commitment to fulfilling the trust placed in them by the organization. The leaders outlined their priorities regarding organizational expansion, the goal of a developed India, and strategies for upcoming elections.
Following the announcement of his new responsibilities, Gajendra Patel thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP National President Nitin Naveen. He stated that he has been entrusted with significant responsibilities within the national organization and will work diligently to meet the leadership’s expectations. Patel noted that the BJP governs approximately 70% of the country, a feat made possible by the strength of the organization. He highlighted that strengthening the BJP is essential for serving the public through governance.
Patel also mentioned that new methods and responsibilities will emerge with his new role. He expressed confidence that all party workers would collaborate to advance the goal of a developed India based on the organization’s strength.
National Secretary Sangeeta Yadav also expressed her gratitude to the party’s top leadership for the new responsibilities. She acknowledged the trust placed in her by the leadership and vowed to live up to it. Yadav praised Prime Minister Modi’s leadership, particularly regarding women’s participation and government initiatives aimed at empowering women since 2014. She emphasized the importance of promoting women in rural areas and those aspiring to enter politics, highlighting the significance of measures like 33% reservation for women in politics.
Yadav stated that efforts are underway to empower women across various sectors, with state governments also working in this direction. She expressed optimism about the upcoming elections in Rajasthan.
Rohan Gupta described his new responsibilities as a significant challenge, stating that he must work harder than ever as a party worker. He emphasized that every party worker must exert their full effort to realize the dream of a developed India, as envisioned by Prime Minister Modi, Amit Shah, and President Nitin Naveen.
Gupta pointed out that with BJP governments in most states, public expectations from the party are high. He stressed the need for the government’s work and the BJP’s vision to reach every citizen effectively. His aim is to understand and address public concerns and expectations at both the government and organizational levels. He described the new team as balanced and noted that it is the responsibility of all officials to advance the leadership and energy of President Nitin Naveen. A meeting is scheduled soon in Delhi to discuss strategies for the coming days, including how to communicate the party’s policies and achievements to a wider audience.
Gupta also mentioned the need for the organization to identify key issues facing the public, necessary solutions, and areas for improvement in the party’s and government’s work. He affirmed that the new BJP team is strong and balanced, ready to move forward with a positive outlook.
Regarding the upcoming local body and municipal elections in Rajasthan, Gupta commented on the party’s preparations. He noted the enthusiasm among the public for the BJP government’s work during a recent meeting in Jaipur, attended by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. He claimed that the government has fulfilled many of its promises and is working to meet public expectations. The challenge now lies in effectively communicating the government’s achievements to the public. The party aims to understand the diverse expectations of the public in various sectors and how to better meet them.
He further stated that in the local elections, the BJP organization will focus on reaching out to voters at the booth and local levels. Alongside promoting the government’s achievements, understanding local issues and public expectations will be integral to the party’s strategy.
