BJP Leaders Accuse Congress of Spreading Misinformation to Destabilize the Nation

New Delhi, October 3 (Daily Kiran) : BJP leaders in Bihar have sharply criticized the Congress party for its recent protests against the Election Commission (EC) and Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar. They claim that Congress is desperate for power and is attempting to destabilize the nation through misleading propaganda.

Dilip Jaiswal, a minister in Bihar, spoke to a news agency in Delhi, stating, “Congress has become frantic for power. By spreading misinformation against the Election Commission, they aim to create instability across the country. Their character has now become one of madness for power, even aligning with anti-national forces.”

Jaiswal emphasized that the ongoing movements and conspiracies are rooted in the opposition’s anxiety about losing power. He accused them of spreading false information and rumors as a means to regain influence.

Dilip Ghosh, another BJP leader, questioned the validity of Congress’s claims. He pointed out that if the Election Commission removes the name of a deceased individual from the voter list, it is indeed appropriate. “If someone has two voter IDs, should one not be removed? Shouldn’t the names of those who have changed their addresses be taken off the list in that area? Does Congress not respect the Constitution?” he asked.

He further asserted that the country’s 1.4 billion citizens understand that Congress is merely staging a drama in its quest for power.

Former BJP MLA Haribhushan Thakur Bachol also weighed in, stating, “How can anyone remove Gyanesh Kumar? He is the Chief Election Commissioner, not a shopkeeper. Congress previously claimed they had more votes, yet when asked to identify who lost their vote, they couldn’t present a single living person. They only create an atmosphere of chaos, alleging vote theft.”

Regarding the ‘India Alliance’ meetings, he remarked, “These people will continue to hold meetings. The ‘Indi’ Alliance has become a coalition of frustrated and defeated individuals. In their opposition to the BJP, they have turned against the very nation. The 1.4 billion people of this country are watching and will not allow them to thrive.”
