BJP Leader Dilip Ghosh Calls for Punishment for All Involved in RG Kar Case

Midinapur, April 10: BJP leader Dilip Ghosh has responded to the High Court’s recent decision regarding the RG Kar case. The court has allowed further questioning of Sanjay Roy, who has been convicted in the rape and murder case of a student at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. Ghosh stated that all individuals involved in this case should face punishment.

Speaking to reporters, Ghosh emphasized, “The RG Kar case remains unresolved. The process will continue until the accused is punished. The public and the victims’ families are demanding justice. People are not satisfied with the justice delivered so far. Therefore, all those involved in this case must be punished.”

He accused the ruling party, stating, “The mother of the victim in the RG Kar case is contesting elections. Mamata Banerjee has neither given her justice nor respect. The TMC has criticized and attacked her. This indicates that TMC and its leaders are behind this entire incident. No one should treat the victim’s mother with such disdain.”

Regarding the removal of approximately 9.1 million names from the West Bengal voter list following the SIR process, Ghosh remarked, “This is not a matter of Hindus and Muslims. Those who are not eligible should not have the right to vote. Therefore, fake names, duplicate voter IDs, and names of deceased individuals have been removed from the voter list.”

In response to a purported sting video involving Humayun Kabir, president of the Aam Janata Udyog Party (AJUP), Ghosh questioned, “Who made this video? Who would give Humayun Kabir 1,000 crores? I assert that such things do not exist in politics. Thus, there is no point in spreading such misinformation.”
