Mumbai, April 14: Motorola is set to enhance its Edge 70 series with the upcoming Edge 70 Pro, and early insights are surfacing through official teasers and leaks. A teaser page on Flipkart confirms that this premium mid-range smartphone will launch soon, although a specific date has yet to be revealed.
Recent leaks from Ytechb have unveiled high-resolution images of the Edge 70 Pro showcasing various finishes and color options. These include Pantone Titan in dark blue, Pantone Zinfandel in dark red, and a dark brown variant. Motorola’s teaser visuals also highlight blue, green, and light grey models featuring a marble finish, indicating that availability may differ by region. The blue variant boasts a non-slip fabric texture, while the brown model features a wood-inspired back panel.
The design showcases a curved display that wraps around both sides, complemented by a slim, flat frame. On the back, a square camera module houses three lenses. The camera setup includes an ultra-wide lens with a 12 mm full-frame equivalent focal length and a telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom with optical image stabilization. At least one sensor in this system utilizes Sony’s Lytia technology, emphasizing enhanced imaging capabilities.
Certification listings suggest a robust 6,500 mAh battery with support for 90 W fast charging via USB-C. While other specifications remain unconfirmed, the launch is anticipated before the end of April.
Previous reports align with these details, as Motorola had teased the device with the tagline “Seize the Night,” underscoring low-light photography as a standout feature. Leaks also indicated finishes such as satin-luxe green, marble white, and fabric-textured blue, alongside a curved display and triple camera setup.
Additional reports hint at features like wireless charging, Wi-Fi 6E, and NFC. The Edge 70 Pro is expected to be part of a broader lineup that includes the Edge 70 and Edge 70 Fusion, positioning it as a more feature-rich option within the series.
