BJP Government Advances Kanshi Rams Vision of Social Justice, Says Keshav Maurya

Lucknow, October 9 (Daily Kiran) : Uttar Pradesh‘s Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya stated on Friday that the BJP government is actively promoting Kanshi Ram‘s vision of social justice. He highlighted the administration’s ongoing efforts to empower Dalits, backward classes, the poor, and marginalized communities.

Maurya pointed out that various central government schemes are providing eligible families with housing, health security, education, skill development, and self-employment opportunities. He noted that ensuring social harmony and equal opportunities serves as a true tribute to Kanshi Ram.

On the occasion of Kanshi Ram’s death anniversary, Maurya paid homage at his official residence on Kalidas Marg in Lucknow. He laid a wreath at a portrait of Kanshi Ram, acknowledging his lifelong dedication to social equality and the rights of marginalized groups. Maurya emphasized that Kanshi Ram’s ideals continue to inspire efforts toward social justice and an equitable society.

The Deputy Chief Minister also mentioned that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the central government is making continuous efforts to integrate the poor, Dalits, backward classes, and marginalized communities into the development mainstream. The government’s initiatives aim to provide eligible families with economic security, education, health services, housing, and self-employment opportunities.

He explained that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is enabling eligible families to secure permanent housing, while the Ayushman Bharat scheme offers health protection to qualifying beneficiaries. Scholarships are also being provided to Scheduled Caste students to help them advance in education.

Furthermore, Maurya noted that the Pradhan Mantri Scheduled Caste Abhyuday Yojana promotes skill development, employment, and livelihood opportunities. Initiatives like the PM Suraj portal are proving beneficial in connecting marginalized groups with loan assistance and self-employment. The BJP government remains committed to its mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas,” ensuring that deserving individuals receive the benefits of government schemes without discrimination. Strengthening social harmony, equal opportunities, and inclusive development is the true tribute to the legacy of Kanshi Ram.
