Modi quoted a Sanskrit verse: “वत्सराजोऽपि तं प्राप्तं प्रदत्तोपायनं नृपम्. प्रीत्या सम्मानयामास शूरा हि प्रणतिप्रियाः॥” This translates to the notion that true warriors cherish those who show them humility and respect. They value harmonious behavior, as those who exhibit respectful demeanor are dear to them.
