BJP Criticizes Opposition, Claims They Resist National Progress

New Delhi, September 6 (Daily Kiran) : The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has voiced strong support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent remarks about the opposition, asserting that certain members, referred to as “fufas,” are obstructing the nation’s growth and prosperity. Rohan Gupta, the party’s national secretary, emphasized that those opposing the impressive 7.8% growth rate are akin to “intellectual Naxals.” He stated that the world recognizes India’s achievements, especially considering its high dependence on oil imports.

Gupta argued that if the opposition were to abandon its politics of dissent and acknowledge reality, it would be beneficial for them. Minister Danish Azad Ansari from the Uttar Pradesh government echoed this sentiment, stating that Modi is committed to advancing the country and fulfilling his promises to the public. He remarked that as the government meets its commitments, the opposition seems increasingly uncomfortable, unwilling to accept that the nation is progressing.

Ansari challenged the opposition to explain how Modi has failed to promote development and prosperity, criticizing them for making baseless accusations without factual backing. He urged them to be transparent with the public regarding their own offices. BJP MP Yogendra Chandolia highlighted that the GDP growth reflects the Prime Minister’s capabilities and administrative skills. He pointed out that after the abrogation of Article 370, stability has returned to Jammu and Kashmir, and efforts are underway to combat Naxalism.

Chandolia also noted that the Prime Minister’s message to the nation was clear: Naxalites are surrendering and abandoning their weapons. He mentioned that Home Minister Amit Shah has set a timeline for this process, urging “intellectual Naxals” to embrace constructive thinking. Telangana BJP leader T.R. Srinivasan highlighted Modi’s recent address at the Shri Ram College of Commerce, where he discussed India’s strategic resistance to terrorism and the country’s journey toward self-reliance, as evidenced by the successful use of indigenous weapons during “Operation Sindoor.”
