BJP Confident of Landslide Victory in Uttar Pradesh Elections: Jagdish Patel

Ahmedabad, August 19: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is ramping up preparations for the upcoming assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. Jagdish Patel, the new in-charge of UP BJP, expressed gratitude towards the party leadership and assured a decisive victory for the BJP in the state. He stated that BJP workers engage with the organization and the public throughout the year, making elections no challenge for the party.

Upon receiving the responsibility for Uttar Pradesh, Patel thanked the national leadership of the BJP. He expressed appreciation for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President Nitin Gadkari, and the Gujarat party leadership, emphasizing that the trust placed in him represents a significant responsibility.

Patel highlighted that Uttar Pradesh is the largest state in the country, and he has been actively working there for the past two and a half years. He feels confident about collaborating with the organization in the state.

When asked about potential challenges in the upcoming assembly elections, Patel stated that the party does not anticipate any difficulties. Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, substantial development has taken place in Uttar Pradesh. He noted that the pace of development seen in recent years is unprecedented since independence. This rapid progress serves as the BJP’s strongest foundation, alleviating concerns about any significant challenges in the upcoming elections.

Regarding election preparations, Patel mentioned that the BJP organization is not just active during election time; party workers engage with the public and the organization year-round. Immediately after elections and results, BJP workers begin preparing for the next elections.

Highlighting the achievements of the BJP government, Patel referenced the construction of the Ram Temple, the law against triple talaq, and the abrogation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. He noted that significant decisions have been made under BJP leadership, including the development of flyovers, roads, and other infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. He stated that thousands of kilometers of roads have been constructed, and large projects are underway in various sectors. Development activities are visibly prominent across the state, with discussions about progress occurring in every household.

On law and order issues, Patel clarified the BJP government’s stance. He affirmed that bulldozer actions will continue in Uttar Pradesh, supporting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s law enforcement policies, and assured that no antisocial elements will be spared.
