
Tarn Taran, October 2 (Daily Kiran) : Security forces successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt by two Pakistani nationals at the India-Pakistan border in the Tarn Taran sector of Punjab. The incident occurred around 12:30 AM on Thursday in the Rajoke area, where the Border Security Force (BSF) engaged the intruders after they ignored warnings to halt.
According to BSF officials, the infiltrators were attempting to illegally cross into Indian territory from the Chattanwala area of Pakistan. Despite being warned, they continued their advance, prompting the BSF to take action. During the confrontation, two of the infiltrators were killed, while a third managed to escape back into Pakistan.
The BSF reported that during the exchange of fire, one additional infiltrator fled towards Pakistan, confirming that three individuals had attempted to breach the border. This incident underscores the heightened vigilance of security agencies along the Punjab sector of the India-Pakistan border.
The BSF has reiterated its commitment to maintaining border security and has been actively monitoring infiltration attempts in the region. The successful operation reflects the agency’s readiness to respond to threats and protect India’s borders.
