BJP Celebrates 7.7% GDP Growth, Praises PM Modis Policies

New Delhi, June 6: India has recorded a remarkable 7.7% GDP growth for the fiscal year 2025-26. Leaders from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) have expressed their appreciation for Prime Minister Modi, celebrating this achievement. BJP leader Syed Shahnawaz Hussain described it as a significant milestone for India while criticizing opposition leader Rahul Gandhi’s statements. Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya commended PM Modi’s leadership, stating that India’s growth rate is shining a new light on the world.

Syed Shahnawaz Hussain remarked, “Due to the situation in the Hormuz Strait, many countries are facing economic turmoil. In contrast, our leader, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has implemented such effective policies that our GDP is performing exceptionally well globally. This is a major achievement for the country. Rahul Gandhi’s comments about India’s economy are a stark reminder of our success. Our GDP is above 7.6%. I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

Bengal BJP president Samik Bhattacharya added, “While the entire world is experiencing instability, India’s growth rate is illuminating the globe. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India’s economy is on track to become the world’s number one power by 2047.”

Recent data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation indicates that the GDP growth rate for the fiscal year 2025-26 stands at 7.7%, with the real Gross Value Added (GVA) growth rate at 7.9%. In the fourth quarter of the fiscal year (January-March), the GDP growth rate was recorded at 7.8%, with the GVA growth rate also at 7.9%.
