BJP Candidate Biraj Biswas Criticizes TMC, Claims Voters Have Been Misled

Kolkata, April 16: In an interview with a news agency, Biraj Biswas, the youngest BJP candidate from the Karandighi assembly constituency in West Bengal, launched a scathing attack on the Trinamool Congress (TMC). He accused previous governments, including TMC, of providing the public with “smoke, dust, and deception.”

Biswas stated that there is a growing resentment among the people against the TMC government this time. He believes that the electorate is ready to give the BJP a chance, with many determined to support the party’s lotus symbol.

He criticized the TMC government for its handling of healthcare, claiming that patients are often sent to private hospitals for even minor issues, which the poor cannot afford.

The state of education was also a point of concern for Biswas. He noted that children in government schools are often sent home after receiving only a meager meal of khichdi and eggs.

Regarding law and order, he described West Bengal as being under “jungle raj,” where even filing a small complaint requires the involvement of TMC leaders. He pointed out that while barricading is not common on national highways across the country, it is exploited in Bengal for financial gain.

Biswas shared a personal story about his late grandfather, who passed away six years ago but was still able to vote during elections. He expressed gratitude to the Election Commission for addressing issues related to voter fraud, emphasizing that illegal immigrants are infringing on the rights of the local populace, including Muslims.

On the topic of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), he argued that it is being misrepresented and that it is in the public’s interest. He concluded by asserting that the lotus will bloom in Bengal.
