4 PM Tahzeeb launched in Mumbai, featuring Vaishnavi Sharmas captivating performance, blending music and poetry.

Mumbai, October 26 (Daily Kiran) : The cultural initiative ‘4 PM Tahzeeb’ made a significant impact in Mumbai with its inaugural event on October 24. Hosted at the Veda Kunj Auditorium in Andheri West, the performance by singer Vaishnavi Sharma attracted a large audience, filling the venue to capacity. Attendees traveled from various parts of Mumbai, making the launch of this new cultural journey memorable.

Before the performance began, the auditorium buzzed with excitement and conversation. However, as Vaishnavi Sharma started singing, the audience fell silent, captivated by her voice. Her ability to intertwine poetic expressions with the melodies of Indian classical music created an atmosphere where both words and notes resonated deeply with the listeners.

The evening featured a beautiful blend of poetry and classical ragas. Vaishnavi presented “Ram Ki Chetawani” in Raga Bairagi Bhairav, followed by “Viratjayi” based on Raga Madhuwanti. “Kupit Yajnaseni” showcased Ragas Puriya Dhanashree and Pantuwaraali, while “Sab Anhad Hai” was performed with Ragas Jaijaiwanti and Bhairavi. These performances allowed the audience to connect with the essence of poetry, its emotions, and the depth of music.

The event was marked by a range of emotions, from the vigor of poetry to the serenity of melodies. Vaishnavi Sharma effectively conveyed these varying sentiments through her performance. The enthusiastic crowd and the audience’s engagement made this event particularly special. The positive response to the debut performance invigorated the organizers.

At the start of the program, senior journalist and producer-director of the film ‘Sahiya’, Sanjay Sharma, shared the vision behind ‘4 PM Tahzeeb’. He described it as the first step in a continuous cultural journey, with plans to host monthly events that will connect audiences with artists from the realms of music, literature, acting, and dialogue.

Sanjay Sharma expressed confidence that after establishing a foothold in journalism, ‘4 PM’ is now poised to make its mark in music and cinema. He believes that ‘Tahzeeb’ aims to create settings where artists and audiences can come together, enjoy art, and understand each other’s experiences.

He also emphasized the importance of providing opportunities for emerging talents alongside established artists on the ‘4 PM Tahzeeb’ platform. The initiative prioritizes bringing the rich traditions of music and literature to audiences and making such events a regular occurrence. The enthusiastic participation in the inaugural program further solidified this commitment.

Looking ahead, Sanjay Sharma announced that ‘4 PM Music’ will release new songs monthly, and ‘4 PM Films’ will produce short films each month. He highlighted the organization’s ongoing efforts to showcase good stories, innovative ideas, and talented artists, aiming to foster a deep and meaningful connection with the audience through music, film, and cultural events.

During the event, Sanjay Sharma also provided insights into his film ‘Sahiya’ and its production journey. He mentioned that the film’s release has been stalled due to a lack of approval from the censor board, with the matter currently in court. According to him, the High Court has ordered the censor board to make a final decision by October 27. He remains hopeful that the film will reach audiences and receive their love.

People from various neighborhoods in Mumbai gathered not only to listen to Vaishnavi Sharma but also to meet Sanjay Sharma. For many, this interaction was a unique experience, bridging the gap between journalism and the audience. The evening, filled with music, conversation, and warmth, connected artists, organizers, and listeners through a shared cultural experience.

At the conclusion of the event, Babita Chaturvedi, MD of 4 PM, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all attendees. She acknowledged their journey from afar to be part of the program, their attentive listening to the music, and their warm reception of the inaugural effort. Babita, also a talented singer, emphasized that music has the power to unite people and assured that ‘4 PM Tahzeeb’ will continue to host such intimate musical evenings and cultural gatherings in the future.
