Bihar Sees Major IAS Transfers, K Senthil Kumar Appointed Sugar Industry Secretary

Patna, 30 December. Ahead of the New Year, Bihar has witnessed a significant reshuffle of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. The General Administration Department issued an official notification on Tuesday announcing the transfers.

According to the notification, Vijayalakshmi N has been transferred from Additional Chief Secretary, Dairy, Fisheries and Animal Resources Department to Additional Chief Secretary, Planning and Development Department until further orders. She will also hold additional charges as Secretary, Bihar State Planning Board, Patna, and Project Director, Bihar Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Society.

Meanwhile, Kapil Ashok, Managing Director of Bihar State Road Development Corporation, has been assigned the additional responsibility of In-charge Secretary of Dairy, Fisheries and Animal Resources Department.

K Senthil Kumar has been moved from Principal Secretary, Planning and Development Department to Principal Secretary, Sugar Industry Department, Bihar, until further notice. He will continue to hold additional charges of Secretary, Bihar State Planning Board, and Project Director, Bihar Disaster Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Society.

Pankaj Kumar, Principal Secretary of Agriculture Department, has been posted as Principal Secretary, Rural Development Department, Bihar, while retaining the additional charge of Commissioner of Investigation, General Administration Department.

IAS officer Sanjeev Hans (1997 batch) has been appointed as Additional Member, Revenue Council until further orders. Narmdeshwar Lal has been transferred as Principal Secretary, Agriculture Department, Bihar, and will also continue as Commissioner of Investigation, General Administration Department.

Vinay Kumar has been entrusted with the responsibility of Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. Prem Singh Meena, Additional Member, Revenue Council, has been made Commissioner of Munger Division. Manish Kumar, Secretary of Dairy, Fisheries and Animal Resources, has been assigned as Commissioner, Saran Division.

Sandeep Kumar R Pudkalakatti, Secretary of Urban Development and Housing Department, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Welfare Department.

Girivar Dayal Singh, Secretary of Revenue Council, has been appointed Commissioner of Tirhut Division, while Avnish Kumar Singh, Commissioner of Munger Division, has been made Commissioner of Bhagalpur.

Mahendra Kumar, Managing Director of South Bihar Power Distribution Company, has been given additional charge of Special Secretary, Sports Department. Nilesh Ramchandra Devre has been posted as Special Secretary, Tourism Department until further orders.

Amit Kumar Pandey, Executive Director of State Health Society, has been assigned additional charge as Managing Director of Bihar Medical Services and Infrastructure Corporation Limited.
