
Patna, April 18: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary held a review meeting on Saturday with officials from the Civil Aviation Department, the Information and Public Relations Department, and the Urban Development and Housing Department, providing several crucial directives.
During the review of the Public Relations Department, the Chief Minister emphasized the need to identify cultural heritage at the district level and improve the dissemination of information to tourists in a simple and accessible manner.
He stated that significant work has been accomplished in Bihar, and it is essential to brand the state effectively on a national level. The achievements of Bihar should be well-known and understood beyond its borders. He also discussed the effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for real-time monitoring, urging the Urban Development and Housing Department and the Panchayati Raj Department to initiate work on this front.
The Chief Minister highlighted the importance of identifying government land for advertising purposes to generate revenue. Proper utilization of government resources is crucial for everyone involved.
During the review, Nilesh Ramchandra Deore, Secretary of the Civil Aviation Department, presented information regarding the comprehensive development of air infrastructure and the strengthening of international connectivity in the state.
The Chief Minister mentioned that solid initiatives are underway for the development of an Aerocity, which includes plans to develop commercial, hospitality, logistics, and tourism-based infrastructure around major airports. Special attention is also being given to the development of small and regional airports. He instructed officials to prepare plans for airport development in all districts.
He noted that the completion of these projects would enhance air connectivity in remote areas and accelerate balanced regional development. The Bihar government is committed to promoting air connectivity while also encouraging tourism and investment. The development of various airports, Aerocity projects, and the introduction of international flights are expected to boost the state’s economic and tourism potential.
The Chief Minister also directed officials to expedite work on urban area development.
