Bhopal RPF Ensures Safe Return of 250 Children in 2025

Bhopal Rail Division’s Railway Protection Force (RPF) successfully secured the safe return of 250 children last year. These included children who had gone missing from their homes or were found helpless at railway stations and on trains.

The initiative, named ‘Operation Nanhe Farishte’, was carried out across railway stations and trains under the Western Central Railway’s Bhopal division. The campaign focuses on protecting lost and vulnerable children and reuniting them with their families.

Through this operation, the RPF fulfills its social responsibility and demonstrates a strong commitment to child safety. Official information from the Railways confirms that in 2025, 250 children were rescued and safeguarded at various railway locations. Most of these children had lost contact with their families or were separated from them.

The RPF made dedicated efforts to trace the families of the recovered children and ensured their safe return home. Alongside rescue operations, the RPF also conducted awareness campaigns highlighting the importance of child safety and urging the public to be vigilant about protecting children.

Senior DCM Saurabh Kataria stated that ‘Operation Nanhe Farishte’ plays a vital social role in protecting children and reuniting them with their families. The RPF plans to expand this campaign further and remains committed to making every possible effort to ensure child safety.
