Changes Announced in Operations of Several Trains Including Tatanagar

East Singhbhum, 17 August (Kiran News). South Eastern Railway has announced temporary changes in the operations of several trains running from and passing through Tatanagar. Due to passenger convenience and operational reasons, some trains will be cancelled in the coming days, some routes will be changed, and the departure timings of several trains have also been modified.

According to information provided by the Railways on Sunday, the 18601 Tata–Hatia Express, which runs from Tatanagar to Hatia, will be diverted from its scheduled route on 22 August 2025. This train will now reach Hatia via Chandrapura–Giridih–Govindpur Road–Muri, while on normal days it operates via Chandrapura–Parasnath–Kasmar–Muri. Besides this, the 18184 Buxar–Tata Express coming from Buxar to Tatanagar will depart from Buxar with a delay of 90 minutes on 24 August 2025.

Meanwhile, changes have also been made in MEMU passenger services operating on Adra and Asansol routes. The Adra–VAA–Adra (68077/68078) MEMU passenger will remain cancelled from 18 August to 24 August. Similarly, the Asansol–Adra–Asansol (68046/68045) MEMU passenger will be cancelled on 24 August. The Tata–Asansol–Barabhum (68055/68060) MEMU passenger will be short-terminated and short-originated from Adra on 19 August. As a result, there will be no train service between Adra and Asansol on that day.

In addition, the long-distance 13503/13504 Barddhaman–Hatia–Barddhaman MEMU Express will be short-terminated and short-originated from Gomoh on 19, 21, and 22 August. During this period, the service between Gomoh and Hatia will remain cancelled. Similarly, the 18019/18020 Jagannathpur–Dhanbad–Jagannathpur Express will run from Bokaro Steel City from 18 to 22 August and on 24 August, and the service between Bokaro Steel City and Dhanbad will remain cancelled.

Railways has appealed to passengers to check the status of trains before planning their journey to avoid any inconvenience.
