
Mumbai, September 12 (Daily Kiran) : Bhojpuri film star Pakhi Hegde has stepped up to aid victims of the devastating floods currently affecting Bihar. Amid this crisis, she has not only provided assistance but also traveled to various villages to meet those in need.
In a heartfelt Instagram video, Hegde is seen delivering relief supplies to villagers. The footage shows her traveling in a tractor, distributing essential items and checking in on the welfare of the residents.
Hegde shared her observations about the dire situation in Bihar, emphasizing the urgent need for food and support. “Today, I reached the flood-affected areas of Bihar, and what I witnessed is hard to put into words. Many families in the Piparpati gram panchayat and surrounding areas are facing severe challenges. Homes are flooded, food is scarce, and most importantly, people need our support and trust right now,” she wrote.
During her visit, she listened to the concerns of families, shared meals with them, and made efforts to provide essential supplies. “I met with families, heard their troubles, and made a small effort to deliver relief materials and necessary goods,” she added.
Hegde expressed her deep connection to Bihar, stating, “I have always believed that Bihar is not just a state; it is my family. When family is in trouble, how can I stay away?”
She also praised the efforts of Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, acknowledging the government’s response to the disaster. “I commend the Bihar government and Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary for the relief and rescue operations underway in the flood-affected areas. However, such disasters are monumental, and we all must come together to help. I urge everyone to support the flood victims,” she concluded.
