Quetta (Balochistan), September 25 (Udaipur Kiran News): The Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF) has claimed responsibility for an attack in which two Pakistani soldiers were killed and three others injured in Awaran district of Balochistan.

According to The Balochistan Post (Pashto), BLF spokesperson Ghoram Baloch said the group’s fighters targeted an army foot patrol with a remote-controlled bomb in Buzdad area on September 24 at around 8:00 am. Following the blast, army helicopters arrived half an hour later to evacuate the bodies and the injured soldiers.
The spokesperson also claimed responsibility for a September 20 attack in Barkhan district, where BLF fighters opened fire on a road construction company’s machinery and later set fire to equipment, including a crash plant.
Meanwhile, the Baloch Students Organization (BSO-Pujar) has declared its former president Zubair Baloch a martyr after his killing in Dalbandin. In a statement, the group said Zubair believed in peaceful struggle and social service, focusing on education, justice, and human rights. The organization alleged that he was killed in an attack by Pakistan Army-backed death squads.
The BSO has announced five days of mourning, suspending regular activities and pledging to keep Zubair’s memory alive through various events.
