Rampur, August 1: Uttar Pradesh Minister Baldev Singh Aulakh condemned the recent terrorist attack in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir, which resulted in the brutal murder of two laborers from Chhattisgarh. He also praised Prime Minister Modi for his gesture of forgiveness towards protesting students at Jantar Mantar. Additionally, Aulakh welcomed the reduction in commercial LPG prices.
In an interview with a news agency, Aulakh expressed his outrage over the Kulgam attack. “I want to understand what these poor laborers did to deserve such a fate. They left their home state out of necessity to work here, and their deaths have placed a heavy burden on their families,” he stated.
Aulakh noted that PM Modi had forgiven the protesting students who had used offensive language towards him. “The Prime Minister, with a noble heart, released a video forgiving the students. He has taken a commendable step by understanding the emotions of the youth,” he added.
Regarding the reduction in commercial LPG prices, Aulakh expressed hope that PM Modi would also lower the prices of domestic cylinders in the future. “He does not want the public’s money to be wasted under any circumstances,” he remarked.
On the topic of the Kanwar Yatra, Aulakh mentioned that this is a sacred month of Sawan. Many devotees bring holy Ganga water with Kanwar processions and perform rituals at Shiva temples according to their intentions. He praised the initiative of flower showers during the Kanwar Yatra. “Chief Minister Yogi respects all religions. Before the Yogi government, several unpleasant incidents occurred during the Kanwar Yatra, but that is no longer the case,” he stated.
He concluded by saying that the Yogi government ensures that Kanwariyas face no inconvenience with the help of balanced administration.
