Bajaj Auto Sees Minimal Impact from Venezuela Crisis, Exports Below 1%

Bajaj Auto has stated that its exports to Venezuela constitute less than 1 per cent of its total overseas shipments and that the ongoing political turmoil in the South American country is unlikely to affect its business materially.

The statement comes amid the recent crisis following the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro by the United States on Saturday.

“We do export to Venezuela. Pulsar and Boxer models are quite popular there, but these exports form less than 1 per cent of our total exports,” said Rakesh Shamra, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto. He was responding to questions regarding the potential impact of the developments in Venezuela on the company’s operations.

For the April to December period of the financial year 2026, Bajaj Auto reported total exports of 16,39,971 units, marking a 19 per cent increase compared to 13,73,595 units in the same period the previous year.

Similarly, TVS Motor Company confirmed it does not have a significant presence in Venezuela.
