New Delhi, March 27: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the domestic schedule for the Indian senior men’s team for the 2026-27 season on Thursday. The Border-Gavaskar Trophy will feature five Test matches between India and Australia, taking place from January 21 to March 3 next year.
This prestigious series will see the Australian team touring India, making it a crucial event for both teams in their quest for a spot in the World Test Championship final.
The first Test will be held in Nagpur from January 21 to 25. Following that, the second Test is scheduled in Chennai from January 29 to February 2.
For the first time, the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati will host a match of the Border-Gavaskar series from February 11 to 15, marking the third Test. The fourth Test will take place in Ranchi from February 19 to 23, and the final match will be held in Ahmedabad from February 27 to March 3.
