Beijing, April 3: Wang Yi, a member of the CPC Central Committee’s Politburo and China’s Foreign Minister, visited the Research Center for the Community of Shared Future. During his visit, he engaged in discussions with representatives from the center and the China Foreign Affairs University.
Also present were Qi Yu, Secretary of the CPC Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Deputy Foreign Minister Miao Deyu.
In his speech, Wang Yi acknowledged the significant progress made by the research center since its establishment a year ago. He emphasized that the creation of this center is a crucial political task assigned by the CPC Central Committee to advance diplomatic efforts.
Under the supervision and guidance of the CPC Central Committee’s Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Education, and other departments, the center has been developed in an organized and solid manner. This has resulted in a ‘four-in-one’ operational model encompassing academic research, policy advice, external promotion, and talent training, which has already shown promising beginnings.
Wang Yi stressed that the research center must remain focused on its mission. It should study and promote the core concept of building a community with a shared future for humanity, as proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping. Additionally, it should contribute to the research, interpretation, and dissemination of the CPC’s innovative theories.
