Auspicious Occasions on Navratris Ashtami: A Day of Worship and Celestial Alignments

New Delhi, March 25: The Ashtami date of Chaitra Navratri falls on March 26. On this day, devotees worship Goddess Mahagauri. It is also the occasion for Ashok Ashtami Vrat and monthly Durga Ashtami. Notably, this day witnesses the convergence of Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and Ravi Yoga, considered highly favorable for auspicious activities.

Worshipping Goddess Mahagauri on Ashtami is believed to bestow strength, fortune, and happiness upon devotees.

According to Drik Panchang, sunrise on Thursday will occur at 6:18 AM, and sunset will be at 6:36 PM. The Ashtami tithi will last until 11:48 AM. Based on the Udaya Tithi, the significance of Ashtami will be observed throughout the day. The Nakshatra Ardra will remain until 4:19 PM.

Religious scriptures suggest that performing auspicious tasks during Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga, Amrit Kaal, or Abhijit Muhurat is highly beneficial. Conversely, it is advisable to avoid any auspicious work during Rahukal and Durmuhurt, which are considered inauspicious times.
