Indian Ambassador Meets Qatari Minister to Discuss Bilateral Relations

New Delhi, March 30: The Indian Ambassador to Qatar held a meeting with the Qatari Minister of State for International Cooperation. This information was shared by the Indian Embassy in Qatar. Various topics were discussed during this meeting.

The Embassy reported that the Ambassador met with Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad. They focused on different aspects of bilateral relations and the need for dialogue and diplomacy to address regional tensions. The Ambassador also expressed gratitude to the Minister for the support provided to the Indian community.

Additionally, a statement from the Qatari Foreign Ministry confirmed that the Minister met with the Indian Ambassador on Sunday. The discussions centered on bilateral relations and various issues of mutual concern.

The statement emphasized the importance of garnering international support to immediately halt any escalating actions and return to the negotiating table, aiming to manage tensions and protect regional security and stability.

This meeting is considered significant amid the ongoing conflicts in the Middle East, where the situation remains tense and many people are fleeing the region.

Meanwhile, Kuwait reported on Sunday that its air defense system successfully intercepted several aerial threats in the past 24 hours. However, a missile attack on a military camp resulted in injuries to 10 soldiers. According to the official statement, defense forces shot down 14 ballistic missiles and 12 drones in mid-air. Despite this, some projectiles struck a military camp, injuring 10 personnel.

The injured soldiers have been hospitalized and are receiving treatment. The attack also caused damage to the camp and targeted a private logistics company’s warehouses, resulting in property damage, though no casualties were reported.
