March 29 Panchang: Kamda Ekadashi Vrat and Auspicious Timings to Note

New Delhi, March 28: The Panchang holds significant importance in Sanatan Dharma. It consists of five elements: Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, and Vara, which determine the day’s commencement and the auspicious and inauspicious timings. On Sunday, the Ekadashi Tithi will last until 7:46 AM. After this, the Dwadashi Tithi will begin. However, according to the Uday Tithi (the Tithi at sunrise), the entire day will still be considered as Ekadashi. The Ekadashi of Chaitra Shukla Paksha is known as Kamda Ekadashi. This day is also referred to as Amalaki Ekadashi, which is deemed highly auspicious and is ideal for the worship of Narayan.

On March 29, sunrise will occur at 6:14 AM, while sunset will be at 6:37 PM. According to the Panchang, the Nakshatra Ashlesha will remain until 2:38 PM, after which the Magha Nakshatra will commence. The Yoga Dhriti will last until 6:20 PM, and the Karana Vishti will be effective until 7:46 AM.
