New Delhi, August 18: The Panchang holds significant importance in Hinduism. Before undertaking any auspicious work, travel, investment, or rituals, consulting the Panchang is essential. It is based on the positions of the sun, moon, and other celestial bodies.
On August 19, 2026 (Wednesday), the Shukla Paksha Saptami Tithi of the Shravan month will last until 7:19 PM. Following this, the Ashtami Tithi will commence. Worshipping Lord Shiva, Lord Ganesha, and the planet Mercury is considered highly fruitful. Additionally, this day marks the birth anniversary of Goswami Tulsidas, prompting devotees to also worship Lord Ram.
On Wednesday, sunrise will occur at 6:08 AM, and sunset will be at 6:52 PM. The moon will rise at 12:07 PM and set at 11:06 PM. According to the Panchang, on August 19, 2026, the sun will be positioned in the Magha Nakshatra, while the moon will remain in the Swati Nakshatra until 6:47 AM, after which it will transition to the Vishakha Nakshatra.
