New Delhi, August 20: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday in New Delhi. He shared details of the meeting through a post on the social media platform ‘X’.
In his post, Chief Minister Sarma expressed, “It was a privilege to meet Prime Minister Modi in New Delhi and receive his blessings and guidance. Throughout the flood relief efforts in Assam, the Prime Minister has remained in constant contact, closely reviewing the situation and providing all possible assistance. I shared my roadmap for the next phase with him, which includes rebuilding affected areas, restoring livelihoods, and ensuring comprehensive reforms.”
Sarma further noted, “PM Modi reiterated the unwavering support of the Government of India in bringing this mission to its rightful conclusion. I also informed him about key initiatives the state government has undertaken in the first 100 days to fulfill the mandate given to us by the people of Assam. I sincerely thank Prime Minister Modi for his continuous guidance and unwavering commitment to realizing our shared vision of a ‘Developed Assam.’”
Earlier, regarding the first 100 days of the NDA 3.0 government in Assam, Sarma posted on social media, “We are consistently making strides towards empowering the women of Assam. During the NDA 3.0 government, we have strengthened initiatives aimed at making women self-reliant, ensuring that our daughters are healthy, confident, and free to pursue their dreams.”
In another post, he wrote, “Building a Developed Assam. On the occasion of completing 100 days of NDA 3.0 in Assam, we reaffirm our commitment to serving the people with integrity and setting new benchmarks in development and welfare.”
