New Delhi, August 12: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) offers a dream job opportunity for thousands of aspiring candidates. If you are among them, don’t miss this golden chance. AIIMS has announced a significant recruitment drive for 2,218 Nursing Officer positions under the ‘Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORSET)-11’.
The online application process for these positions commenced on July 24, and the last date to apply is set for August 13. Interested candidates should complete their registration on the official AIIMS website before 5 PM on the deadline, or they risk losing this opportunity.
Applicants must possess a B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing/B.Sc. Nursing or B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution or university by the Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council. They should also be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with the State/Indian Nursing Council. Alternatively, candidates with a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognized institution/board or council, along with at least two years of experience in a hospital with a minimum of 50 beds, are eligible to apply.
The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the maximum age is capped at 30 years, calculated as of the application deadline. Candidates from reserved categories will receive age relaxation as per government regulations.
Selection of eligible candidates will be based on two stages: Stage I – Online (CBT): NORSET Preliminary, and Stage II – Online (CBT): NORSET Mains. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹9,300 to ₹34,800, along with a grade pay of ₹4,600.
Stage I (CBT) is expected to be held on September 12, and Stage II (CBT) on September 30. The status of applications will be available on August 24, details of exam cities on September 3, and admit cards will be uploaded on September 9 on the official website.
