
Ahmedabad, May 28: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will begin a two-day visit to Gujarat on Thursday. During this trip, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for several development projects in the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency and Ahmedabad. He will also participate in organizational and review meetings.
As the MP from Gandhinagar, Amit Shah will kick off his tour by attending various development-related events at different locations. In Vadser, he will inaugurate the new Zedwa pond developed under the Anandam family CSR fund.
Additionally, in Jalund and Sardhav, he will open a new library created under the CSR initiative of Toyota Kirloskar Motors Limited. In Khatraj, Shah will lay the foundation for lake beautification projects undertaken by the Arvind Foundation and inaugurate a newly constructed village panchayat office.
Following this, he will inaugurate the Pay Center Primary School in Moti Bhoyan and will also lay the foundation and inaugurate various development projects in Sonipur village, as well as in the Kalol and Gandhinagar North assembly constituencies.
During his visit to Sonipur, Amit Shah will have lunch at the home of former sarpanch and senior BJP worker Gandaji Thakor. Afterward, a meeting of senior BJP officials will be held at the state BJP headquarters, ‘Shri Kamalam’, in his presence.
In the Chandkheda area of Ahmedabad, he will inaugurate the regional office of CBSE. He will also open a new hostel building at the Umiyadham complex. Furthermore, a new ‘Bharat Mata’ statue constructed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation will be inaugurated in the New Vadj area.
After these events, a review meeting regarding preparations for the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, and World Police and Fire Games will be chaired by Amit Shah at the Circuit House.
Once all scheduled programs for Thursday are completed, he is expected to head to Bhuj in Kutch. His itinerary for Friday includes several other events as part of his two-day tour in Gujarat.
