Allegations of Corruption Surrounding Ram Temple Donations: Sanjay Raut Speaks Out

Mumbai, June 26: The political landscape has intensified over the Ram Temple donation controversy. Sanjay Raut, a Rajya Sabha member from Shiv Sena (UBT), raised significant questions during a press conference on Friday. He stated that the main accused in the Ram Temple donation scandal are still at large and that the funds are being used to buy off MPs.

Raut commented on the recent filing of FIRs against eight individuals for alleged embezzlement of donations for the Ayodhya Ram Temple. He claimed, “The main accused are still working within the trust. Those who consider themselves ‘Hindutvavadis’ are stealing crores from the temple, and this money is entering politics, where it is used to purchase MPs and break political parties. You have used the ₹2000 crore stolen from the Ram Temple to lure away MPs from TMC and Shiv Sena (UBT).”

He also criticized the recent shift of six Shiv Sena (UBT) MPs to the faction led by Eknath Shinde, referring to it as “Operation Tiger.” Raut asserted that nothing significant has occurred under this operation. “Do not tarnish the tiger’s image. We all are still tigers. If we are tigers, then those who left are foxes. You cannot approach a tiger; that’s why people have been given Y-plus security,” he stated.

Raut warned that people should fear the tiger, as it can consume them. He emphasized that those in security and ministries should first focus on establishing their own party. “Shiv Sena is our party, not yours. You have taken our party with the blessings of the Supreme Court, Election Commission, and Home Minister Amit Shah. First, contest elections with your own symbol, then talk to us,” he added.

He questioned the notion of “Operation Damage Control,” stating that traitors have left, and there is no damage to control. “The loyal workers, the millions who are faithful, have not gone with these traitorous MPs. It is our duty to meet them, and we will visit all five locations in Maharashtra. One is in Mumbai, and we have already been there,” he concluded.
