Ghaziabad, August 12: A troubling case has emerged from the Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad, where a minor girl has reportedly been subjected to harassment and coercion. Allegations include the concealment of identity, stalking, drug addiction, emotional blackmail, and threats to her family. The police have initiated an investigation based on a complaint filed by the girl’s mother.
The complaint accuses a young man named Atish Khan of serious offenses. The family has also raised concerns about potential attempts at religious conversion. However, the police have stated that the conversion allegations will be investigated further to ascertain their validity. According to documents, the complaint was submitted to the Assistant Police Commissioner in Ghaziabad on August 8.
The complainant has requested action regarding her minor daughter. It is alleged that during their interactions, Atish Khan concealed his identity and introduced himself as Sonu, also known as Aditya Saini. The complaint states that after forming a friendship, the girl was allegedly introduced to drugs, causing her to sleep for days at a time.
The family claims that the accused enlisted the help of two girls to exert influence over the minor. The complainant mentioned that on one occasion, the family caught the accused stalking the girl. Additionally, it is alleged that the accused made inappropriate advances towards her on the street, leaving her frightened and distressed.
The complainant has also suggested that the accused’s mother played a role in the situation. It is alleged that she attempted to blackmail the girl, threatening that if she ceased communication with her son, she would leave home or even take her own life, placing the responsibility on the minor.
Furthermore, the family alleges that when the girl tried to distance herself from the accused, he threatened her father. The complainant has expressed concerns for her family’s safety and has demanded strict action against the accused.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case and commenced an investigation. They will look into the allegations of drug use, identity concealment, and attempts at conversion.
