Mumbai, June 28: Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, recently appeared on the reality show “Lock Up: Truth or Punishment,” where she made several revelations about her marriage and relationships. Sharing her experiences, she disclosed that her husband, Govinda, had multiple affairs.
During the premiere episode, host Farah Khan read out some old media headlines related to Sunita. One particular headline caught attention, featuring Sunita’s statement: “I want a son like Govinda, not a husband.”
Sunita openly addressed this, stating, “In love, you must tolerate everything. Govinda has had many affairs; such matters are common in the industry. However, after all these years with Chi Chi (Govinda), I believe I should have a son like him.”
Later in the show, co-host Riteish Deshmukh read another headline that stated, “As long as the husband and wife are together, they shoot arrows with their eyes. But when a third party enters, they shoot from their knees.”
Sunita responded, “Listen, Chi Chi (Govinda), you should hear this. You only get shot in the knees when someone enters your life. I didn’t lie about that. Many rumors have been spread about me, including claims that I fired a shot. At that time, I was not in Mumbai; I was at the Khatu Shyam Temple.”
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja got married in 1987. They kept their marriage private for nearly two years, revealing it publicly after the birth of their daughter, Tina Ahuja. The couple also has a son named Yashvardhan Ahuja.
