Mumbai, August 19: Actor Akshay Khanna is set to make his debut in Telugu cinema with the pan-India mythological film ‘Mahakali.’ In this movie, he will take on the role of ‘Shukracharya,’ the guru of the asuras, portraying a powerful and distinct negative character.
On Wednesday, the filmmakers announced via social media that a first look of the actor will be revealed on August 24. RKD Studios shared a glimpse of Khanna in his ‘Shukracharya’ avatar on the platform ‘X,’ stating, “August 24 – The end begins now.”
While specific details about Khanna’s character have not been disclosed, fans are eagerly anticipating a video and more information related to his look on the release date. The first look of ‘Shukracharya’ has already generated significant buzz, with audiences expressing admiration for his transformation, further heightening excitement for the film.
As the guru of the asuras, ‘Shukracharya’ is a character known for his intensity and seriousness, which Khanna is expected to bring to life in a unique way. This film is part of the Prashanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU), which began with the film ‘Hanu-Man.’ The filmmakers plan to showcase Khanna’s character on a grand scale within this cinematic universe.
